Expansive Performance
To power you along on your journey, the new Ford Expedition comes powered by a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that delivers 400 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. Mated to the powertrain is a 10-speed Selectshift automatic transmission that optimizes towing and fuel efficiency performance. The new Ford Expedition can tow up to 9,300 pounds of cargo when properly equipped. To assist with towing, the Ford Expedition offers available Pro Trailer Assist Backup Assist 2.0.
The Ford Expedition also comes with available intelligent four-wheel-drive with Terrain Management System. It features several drive modes that optimize the new Expedition for driving over many terrain surfaces, including grass, gravel, and snow. For getting over mud and treacherous surfaces, the Control Trac four-wheel-drive system locks the rear axle completely to optimize traction.
Spacious Design
From top to bottom, the new Ford Expedition is designed for adventure. Its bold flowing lines turn heads everywhere it goes, ensuring every journey is made in style. With the available off-road focus Ford Expedition Timberline model, 18-inch high gloss black-painted aluminum wheels are featured along with a protective skid plate to protect the underside from damaging rocks and other debris.
With the available King Ranch Edition model, the exterior adds optional front tow hooks with LED reflector headlamps and LED signature lighting.
Interior Comfort
Inside, you and your passengers can go around in style in superior comfort with the available Carmelo leather interior. You can also choose available Del Rio leather embroidered with a 'W' logo on the seat. Moreover, the interior offers three rows of seating to seat up to eight passengers with available third-row power reclining seats.
Regarding cargo space, you can take advantage of the 63.6 cubic feet of space with the third-row seats folded. Plus, the cargo spaces open up to 104.6 cubic feet of space with the second and third-row seats folded down. All eight occupants can sit back and enjoy the sunshine with an optional Panoramic Vista Roof with glass panels over the first and second rows.
Connectivity and Technology
With connectivity, the new Ford Expedition allows you to access the many convenience features with a 12.0-inch touchscreen SYNC 4 technology. It comes complete with available built-in navigation and voice recognition to access both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Further, you and your passengers can stay connected with FordPass Connect 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.
Further, the Ford Expedition offers an available dual-headrest rear seat entertainment system with Amazon Fire TV. With it, you can enjoy your favorite content along with the capability to download your favorite content for streaming offline. Further, the Ford Expedition features eight available USB ports, so all occupant's smart device stays charged up while on the go.
