New Ford E450 Inventory at Dana Ford Lincoln on Staten Island
The Ford E450 truck is Ford's biggest truck built for the commercial industry. It's bigger than the F350 Super Duty passenger truck because it's sixteen inches wider from side to side. That's intentional, considering that the E450 is built into an Econo-van design meant to haul much larger items. It can't, however, haul larger loads by weight. The E450 has a hauling capacity of 6,000 pounds compared to the F350, which has a hauling/towing capacity of 20,000 pounds.
So, why make an Econo-line of trucks and vans that can't haul nearly as much as a Super Duty pickup truck? The reason is simple. The Econo-line of Ford transport vehicles is meant to haul things for businesses like bakeries, delivery services, mobile repair services (e.g., cable and Internet, plumbing, electrical, etc.), or to act as transport over short distances for hotel and airport guests. The E450 doesn't need to haul massive loads because it never will. If you want to buy any Econo-line vehicle like the E450, you should check it out before investing.
The Likelihood That Dana Ford Lincoln Has the E450
Considering that the E450 Econo-line of vans and trucks are the third most popular commercial vehicles, it's hard to argue that we wouldn't have any on our lot. They are Ford's largest commercial cargo/passenger vehicles, and it is easy to see why they are so popular. They are very spacious inside. As a commercial vehicle dealership, we try to stock several of these, including the cutaway models with modular configuration and the stripped-down models with just the truck front end and the chassis.
The stripped versions allow buyers to reconstruct the ideal commercial vehicle using Ford's truck end front and chassis. Customers get what they need from the stripped-down E450 while customizing the rest of the vehicle body to suit their needs. Call ahead if you want to see a stripped-down model E450. Otherwise, we usually have the cargo vans in passenger and cargo configurations.
Be Forewarned of Availability
Because they are so popular with Elizabeth drivers (only another Ford commercial vehicle and one Volkswagen commercial vehicle are more popular), our inventory waxes and wanes. We may have thirty of them one week and three of them the next. This is particularly true during certain times of the year when commercial businesses need more vehicles to conduct their daily business affairs or when tax refunds create a surplus of cash for business owners.

Color Options
The most common color choice available is white. This is because many businesses use decal wraps to decorate and advertise the E450 vans and trucks they buy, and white is easier to do this with than any other color. If you are looking for black, red, navy, or any of the other base colors these trucks and vans come in, please call us. If we don't have it, we'll try to find it for you.
